Changes to Duran Duran Worldwide for 2019

Changes for 2019
  1. The Facebook profile for Kirk DDWW will be retired by the end of 2018
  2. I will invite people I have friended (and who have engaged with me) on the Kirk DDWW profile to my personal account, Kirk Harrington
  3. Kirk Harrington, my personal Facebook account will become a moderator on the Duran Duran Worldwide Facebook site (and Kirk DDWW will be taken off)
  4. A new blog, this one, will be used to store news and information for the effort.  Old interviews from the ddrockhall.blogspot.com will be moved to here and re-released.
  5. This year, and going forward, I will focus as I can on engaging more with fans through Messenger and even in person.  Be prepared for a potential visit and a few selfies and even maybe a video with me as I go on the road visiting you.  I may also reach out to you to play games and talk Duran Duran with you.  I may attend concerts with you.  For those of you across the big lake, I will make creative ways to engage with you, even if by mail.
  6. This year, I will finish the research on Duran Duran in the Media since the year 2000, and will publish something out to fans so they can have fun with the research we did.  We will be open to collecting new source material even after this is published.
  7. The DDTTRH Twitter account will remain active.  Any new material that is posted on this blog will be shared there.
  8. The Duran Duran Worldwide Facebook group will remain open for now.  It may eventually be retired, it may not.  Please, if you haven't started following it...please do.  A link will be sent out several times in the next few months on the Kirk DDWW to give you a link to get you there.
  9. Snow Leopards will be back in 2019!  I will be buying stuffed Snow Leopards again and selling them through my eBay account to fans.  All proceeds, as usual, will go to help endangered snow leopards in Mongolia (through the Snow Leopard Trust of Seattle).
  10. The biggest change to 2019, that I am most excited about is that we will be opening up Duran Duran Worldwide to interviews.  Interviews will be of a simple format, easy to read and share, and will provide insight into how Duran Duran has influenced people in their professional lives and artistic endeavors.  I have met with Tracey, and she agreed to help me with interviews.  If anyone would like to help us do interviews (or would like to BE interviewed), please reach out to us at ddworldwide.info@gmail.com.  We will try to have 5 interviews done to kick off the New Year.

Duran Duran Appreciation Day 2019 PRIZE CONTEST!!!

It is another Duran Duran Appreciation Day and what better way to celebrate it than to participate in a contest to win a prize? The First prize?  A Duran Duran Vintage 80's poster and a Vintage Bumper Sticker The rules?
