Interview with Luigi Caneiro Music, by Kirk Harrington, Duran Duran Worldwide I had the pleasure of speaking with Luigi Caneiro, music producer, bassist, singer, and songwriter.  Luigi started his music career in Brazil, performing in various bands (heavy rock, pop, and acoustic groups) and making jingles for commercials.  He recorded over 300 jingles when he lived in Brazil…for even major clients like Fiat, Volkswagen, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Kellogg’s, several national banks and Pringles.  He has been playing music for about 40 years.  He moved to the US in 2000, where he has been a solo artist and still does commercial work.  He has worked on several albums throughout his career, including Alderan (1990), Paul Mounsey’s Nahoo (1996), Nahoo 3 (1999), Notes from the Republic – Brenner Bianco’s first album (1995), Fenix (2002), and recently released his own solo album Staring at Paradise in Times of Chaos (2020).  Luigi comes from a family of opera singers, and cites as his main influence T
